We have the screen door here too, but they're stronger, usually steel or aluminium with a good lock. You can see through them too see who's come to your door. Not that they'd stop bullets like what happened with these poor people.

I’m behind, just getting around to listening on this one. My husband’s job sounds exactly the same as Kanika’s. Top clearance, military security, not sure exactly what he works on, can’t say what the business trips are for( I was background checked when we were married). I’m freaked out! He says it doesn’t sound like US/ foreign gov’t hit, because there would be no messiness involved. Perhaps she uncovered something dangerous about a co-worker, and would have had to report on that person.
