Karyn was naturally pretty before she started having plastic surgery. Afterward, she looked like a mashup of Stockard Channing and LIz Taylor. I agree with her father and think it was David Lange, although there is one detail that bugs me. That detail is James Ellroy's vivid version of what may have happened. Didn't he used to be a bit of a peeping Tom and then break into the homes of women and steal their underwear? There is an article on CBS news that states this, and also, I think I heard it on your podcast. He mentions that he never got caught. . .It's probably the wrong timeline, for his misdeeds, but I thought his suggestion of what happened is pretty vivid. Maybe he was lurking in the bushes. . .
