Pete Davidson has borderline personality disorder. One of the hallmarks is threatening suicide and suicidal attempts. It’s used as a form of manipulation, playing on peoples’ emotions and goodwill to fulfill his need for attention. People with BPD are often the personification of “any attention is good attention.” And now the media is pouring gasoline on the dumpster fire. This will be one of many times he pulls this stunt. I promise.

Erin, Pete has been suicidal multiple times before, and seems to have been a geniune cry for help. It is no wonder that men have difficulty expressing how they feel when expressing vulnerability is considered manipulation or being weak. Also, people with BPD do not all express it in the same way. There are various symptoms that are expressed differently by INDIVIDUALS. Also, in case you are not aware, BPD has a very high suicide rate, not just 'threatening" suicide.
