Fairy FINDR Text Wip + What's Next (Patreon)

Thanks to everyone who completed my poll in the last post, I can reveal the results:

I'm super excited to see people still have an interest in the Fairy game, something I've been waiting & wanting to get back into badly. I didn't realize The Bad Fox would take so long, but I still did enjoy making it a lot.

Today I wanted to share with you my progress on the Fairy FINDR game. I've spent the last two weeks digging back in to my most ambitious project, and it's something that will now be focused on in the coming months.

I just realized that I've only been giving updates on it as additional notes alongside other game updates, so let me use this post as a recap of the project, along with where it's at now!

Project Recap:

The fairy. One of nature’s most beautiful and exotic creatures, these monster girls can live to over 1,000 years old. Their long lifespan and curious nature leads most fairies down an obsessive path towards the fetishistic. They slowly become addicted to human scents and their indecent natures. For you see, fairies in the human world are always born female, so they must find willing partners to breed with. Fairies will do anything to please their partners, including using magic to increase their physical limits.

In a place where fairies are abundant and willing, fairy FINDR was born.

Summary

FINDR - A fairy dating app where you can swipe left and right on fairies and find the one you'd like to meet in the forest. The game will utilize a big amount of hair color & styles, ear and nose types, voice actors, eye types and more to create a wide variation of fairy types that you can select from by swiping, like in Tinder.

The name, character, and description will be randomly generated on each swipe with a seeded number. There will be preset 'top pick' seeds for character accessories that match, this will be where characters that look like Tinkerbell and Shantae will appear.

Swiping right on / selecting a fairy will give you a little cutscene where they decide to meet you in the forest. The game will switch to a split screen (Like the Bunnycop wall scene), with POV on left, and an isometric view on right.

Depending on how the fairy is randomized, up to two additional fairies may appear (#2 and #3), and the original fairy will give oral + the extra fairy will vibrate her wings and rub on the backside of the d1ck. (This is shown in the 'likes group s3x' item on the swiping menu)

Too small to enjoy yourself? The fairies can use magic - select the magic wand button for the main fairy to grow herself into a short stack - this will give you an extra penetrat1on scene with the original fairy x the human when she's a bit bigger (In the original concept art). The other two fairies will stay small and sit on her, commenting on the action.

The fairies are voiced by three voice actors, with more planned for the future.

What I am planning to do, is that randomly you'll get one of the 3 voice sets when you swipe (create) your fairy in the game, depending on their personality type shown in the menu.

At this point, I've got all the dialog back from all three voice actors, it needs to be edited and cut up (There's well over an hour of takes to work through!)

This is the first time I've made a project like this with 'OC' characters. Inspiration was taken from:

• The Fairies from Interspecies Reviewers

• Mercedes - Odin Sphere

• Wamudraws' takes on Betilla the fairy, from Rayman

• Several images of size difference fairies online (Tinkerbell, other generic fairies)

My first attempt I can only describe as 'Westerners attempt at anime in Flash from 2004' - Because I've been focusing on furry style characters for so long, for some reason I had in my head that I needed to draw their faces in a different style to how I had drawn my other work.

My latest attempt looks much closer to what I had imagined for the project, and I hope you'll find them cute and sassy, but can get sexy when they want to!

Current final look of the two fairies. Please keep in mind that the screenshot above is two fully rendered characters laid out in flash layers, ready for animating. The flash rigs are designed in a way that their skin color, accessories, breast sizes, hair style and color, eye colors and more will be fully customizable.

I'm excited for this project, because unlike using other characters in previous games, the customization on these fairies will be far greater, and I think it will be a lot of fun for me to make lots of different styles, and I hope it will be a lot of fun to find your favorite fairy (And keep her number for repeat calls!)

Updated Menus

Other Future Features Planned for the Game:

• Major accessory types (like skins) including goblin, yordle, shantae genie

• Crysta - Fern Gully

• Futa option for all fairies

• Shortstack mode to include some kind of f1ngering options

• A welcome tutorial that will ask questions like 'are you into futa' etc. for settings, later you can change your settings via the edit profile

• Catgirl fairy accessories

• If you haven't played for a while, custom dialog where they talk about how they missed you / haven't seen you in a while

• Make some kind of release video where CottontailVA narrates FINDR as if it was a real app being released on the app store

What's happening next month?

Because the fairy game is a much bigger project than anything previously, my plan is to work on it between other updates to my existing games. I will be kicking off next month with adding the bl0wjob update to Interdimensional Engineer - I have all the voice acting ready to go, so I expect it to be in the game and released mid August. Once that is done, I will spend whatever remaining time I have on Fairy FINDR once again. The Judy footjob action is another example of an update I'll be able to get done at the same time in production.

Also, in between this, I've been spending some passive time cutting up and preparing the Isabelle dance art ready for animation sometime in the future, no set date.
