Hi everyone!

Dropbox has suspended my account for "excessive traffic".

I'm getting it worked out! I'll have some sort of solution up by tomorrow whether it be Dropbox or Google Drive.

Thanks for all the love on the forest collection! I'm glad you guys love the collection as much as I do ^_^

Best!

I thought the purpose of Dropbox was big files and excessive traffic....

Wankers. Hope you get "the situation" ironed out. If not, you have a loyal following that'll do whatever.

Yikes!

This is both a blessing and a curse, in one thought on no this is not fair BUT the bigger picture you're doing amazing Work and this Month you have really brought these sculpts to life!

One of the other Patrieons I subscrive to use google drive which works well. Hope you get it figured out.

I've seen several 3D printing Patreons use sync.com as well. Might be worth a look.

As David Emmons said above, most patreon's i back for 3d models have moved to sync.com, i believe because its 2TB storage and unlimited data transfers for $8/month. (note that they bill annually, though)

Kelsey Reyer

They probably did that thinking you were sharing roms or other pirated stuff.

M3DM

That is reasonable! I don't think that is the case because they can see the file type format is STLs. Also I opted for the business plan which is geared towards high volume sharing.

2023-06-14 05:22:49 Sync is usually fast and easy to download. The only problems I've had with it is there doesn't seem to be any kind of desktop client to syncronize with them. With Google Drive, you can use add a reference to a shared folder to your own drive and then sync it with their client or a myriad of third party clients. The other problem I encontered is that if you try to download a very large data set (>10 GB), it will fail during the zip stage.
