Hi everyone!!

Today is the last day to submit your painted minis! I am accepting entries until 11:59PM PST. 

You can browse all 16 entries so far here:  https://www.m3dmprints.com/painting-contest/ 

Voting will take place this Tuesday! Tomorrow will be the poll for March's theme.


Announcement!!

I will be hosting a painting competition EVERY MONTH from now on! This competition will be exclusive to Patrons. 


Honestly I wasn't sure if anyone was going to participate. I was worried there would be like 2 entries. We did WAY better than that!! I also want to do this because there is more than 800 people here that support me! That is insane, and I want to reward that ^_^


The prize will be a custom model by me~ It'll need to be fantasy based, but it can be as big as a dragon!


If you have painting theme ideas for next month, let me know! I'm excited to see all the painted minis next month!

Painting Contest - M3DM - 3D Modeling Tutorials - Character and Creature Design

Paint details: I wanted the banshee to look very ghostly, so I started with pale white as a base. I added a very light wash of green to her fleshy bits. I added a green gloss wash to her hair.

Man... First work, then I got the flu and I did not manage to paint up anything this time. But I'm very happy that I'll have the cance next month :-)

Yeah, much better now, Thx. One week of feever and a bad cough... But it's not down to a very managable cough and a bit of a rough voice XD So next painting contest, I'm def in. Has the theme been decide jet?

Haha.. man. I got mine in, and then I took the miniatures to show them to some of my players for our DnD session on saturday night.. and the guy who was hosting at his house has a kitten.. who managed to knock my entire mini case down onto a hardwood floor. All of the miniatures flew out of the case, and the plastic case slammed down on top of 19 of them.. shattering them to pieces, including the three I painted. Then tonight my LCD screen got torn off by my resin Vat.. thankfully anycubic is sending me a new screen, because it's (JUST BARELY) under warranty.

I learned a valuable lesson, I suppose! I'm going to get one of those stick-on vinyl screen protectors, so that if this situation happens again, the vinyl pulls off instead of the screen!

try adding magnets to the bottom of the minis and metal strips in the case so they aren't likely to go flying.
