Tips about symmetry

Looking at this head you can see the it is mostly symmetrical. I modeled the base head with symmetry activated, but the moment I went into detail work I turned it off.

But wait. Isn't that less efficient?

Short answer, yes. However perfectly symmetrical sculpts have a certain stiffness about them. Especially for character models! Plus, I'm not in a rush to get any of my models done. One of the perks that I'm able to treat this like a hobby rather than a job.

On a side note, I'm really feeling the metal material choice for my models recently haha
