How do I get to watch part one of this painting I just join today?

Maria L.

Hi Daria, do you do anything to make your paintings dry faster? How is this process? Thanks! :)

Daria Callie

Hi Maria, When it comes to oils, drying time depends on so many factors like the brand of oil paints, the medium you use, the room temperature, etc. You can use fast-drying mediums such as Liquin which will make the paints dry within an hour or two. I like to use it sometimes myself, however normally I prefer to use linseed oil for my portraits and have enough time to work on them while the paint stays wet. If you’re talking about a finished painting that you’d like to dry faster, I’d put it in some warm place, it will decrease the drying time.
