can i ask what paper this is please

Daria Callie

It’s a semi-gloss 250gsm paper. And the prints are made with archival pigment-based inks.

Betty

Do you have someone make prints or r do you make them? If you do it, what are you printing them on?

Daria Callie

Hey Betty, I used to order them from a local print shop (like the prints you see on the picture above) However not so long ago I got a professional printer to make them myself. I didn’t have a big release yet or anything but I have made some prints on it and they turned out to be great! My printer is Canon Pro-10s in case you’re wondering. Usually I go with premium luster 250gsm paper and archival pigment-based inks. I believe what kind of paper you choose for printmaking is very subjective. I personally like luster or semi-glossy paper the most. I think that the colors on the matte paper might look a bit dull, and glossy paper is too reflective in my opinion. So I go with the luster/ semi-gloss inkjet paper (from Canson or Ilford, etc)
