New version 2.0.1 of CMRT Complete HUD is now available.

In this version we present two new features: Multiclass and Relative. We have worked hard to integrate in the best possible way these functionalities, make them clear and easy to use during your sessions.

Multiclass

It is now possible to show the classes inside the Leaderboard. Each class can be created using tags, ordered and personalized inside the Settings app. It is possible to show the global leaderboard or to filter for your class only.

The activation of Multiclass also changes the map visualization. Every dot will show an arc with the color of its own class. By enabling the multiclass filter only the cars of your class will be highlighted, and the leader of the category will be shown in purple.

The Sectors app will adapt when Multiclass is enabled by showing only the fastest lap of the cars in the same class as the player, in the same way also the sector colors will adapt to this filter.

Also the Deltabar, by enabling Multiclass will adapt by showing in "Session Record" the delta time of the fastest driver in the same class as the player.

Relative

The Relative mode is integrated into the Leaderboard app and can be enabled and alternated in any moment by assigning a dedicated button inside the Settings app or by enabling the corresponding setting.

In Relative mode the Leaderboard can be customized to show the desired number of cars and change the update rateo of the interval between them. Both these settings are independent of the two visualization modes.

  • White cars are the one in your current lap.

  • Red cars are the ones one lap in front of you.

  • Blue cars are the ones one lap behind you.

Other than these features, we solved some minor bugs and improved performance, now the entire CMRT Complete HUD is faster by 25%! Moreover when the apps get resized they do so by staying inside the screen depending on their position.

You can read all changes and fixes in the changelog below.

General:

  • Added Multiclass support with integration in multiple apps (Leaderboard, Map, Sectors, Deltabar).

  •  Added Relative mode in Leaderboard.

  • Optimized apps. About 25% speedup, with less fluctuations.

  • When apps resize they adjust their position to stay on screen.

  • Fixed apps moving around when resizing if you set the UI scale above 100%.

Map:

  •  Improved graphics.

  • Optimized map rendering. About 40% faster on our end.

  • Fixed some maps being drawn off center (most commonly Sonoma).

Sectors:

  • Added keybinds to open/close the Fastest Lap notification panel.

Gearbox:

  • Fixed wrong layout of gearbox when drs is available.

Tyres:

  • Fixed settings "Open Info Panel automatically" being default off and unsaved.

Leaderboard:

  • Fixed "Fastest Lap notification" setting sometimes not being saved

  • Fixed "Interval refresh rate" setting sometimes not being saved

Pedals:

  • Fixed force feedback in telemetry showing only when turning right.

That's all for this update. Let us know of your opinion after using these new features. We get back to work, we have many more features to add.

See you next time,

I really like the colors of didderent classes next to the numbers on the leaderboard. Is there a feature to display team colors next to the nimbers in the other modes? I would look really nice

Thank you for your suggestion, we will consider introducing the feature in the future. CMRT Group

I like the suggestion with the different colours but personally I would love to see badges instead. The old HUD I used to use until CMRT came out with this masterpiece (don't remember the name) used a file with the name "logo.png" just inside the cars folder and not the "badge.png" file inside the UI folder. Not all of the cars have it but you could just copy it and then rename it. Also you could easily change it if a company/modder had his own instead of the actual cars badge. Really hope that it will be implemented someday as well.

I think f1 used a mix of both these switching inbetween team color and logo next to the team. The current cmrt versions colors for different classes wreminded me of that and where the only improfement i could think of. I would love to se both concepts with logos and team colors in a toggle and automaticly alternating mode added to the hud amdaby you could alternate inbetween logos and classes for multiclass races. Because class colors and team colors would get confusimg i think

Is it just for me that these showcase gifs don't load? :( (thanks for the amazing work on this btw)

Thank you, we are glad you like the interface. We have checked and the gifs are displayed correctly, it must depend on Patreon. In any case, we have uploaded them here: https://imgur.com/a/FGvVpwB CMRT Group

Thank you so much! It took me a while to find where the settings for the multiclass were without them haha!

Thank you for creating such an excellent HUD. I have three questions regarding potential future improvements: 1.Will it be possible to switch to another player’s view by clicking on their ID in the leaderboard? 2.Can the map be freely rotated to adjust the viewing angle, especially since some maps are rectangular? 3.Can you make an app that can show the estimated lap times? i want to replace the original one I look forward to your response. Thank you!
