Hi all,

Thought I'd post something a bit different - so here's a glimpse into my process when writing the story for Wife Adventures.

I have something of a WIP which details all the scenes and tasks to do and the status (in the picture). It's a fairly hefty sheet with a lot of text because I outline how events will transpire - something of a draft-draft. I have a tab for every release, and a section for every aspect of the changes... Example; bug fixes, story, coding, etc.

When it comes to writing the story elements and sex scenes, I have an idea of what'll happen, I'll draft it out, and then I try and find the visuals that can go with it... And then complete the passage in full detail. I keep it as a draft because sometimes acts will need to change in the case I can't find a visual to go with it.

I'm very particular with what qualifies for visuals; something I've been critiqued for, apparently. I don't mind using multiple sources as you'd have noticed, because it'd be a very finite pool if you were to stick to a single person and what they've done. So long as the visuals match the scene matches then I'll use it. Hopefully, the reader is imaginative enough to allow for creative liberties... I do my best to crop out excessive feature details and keep in the raw acts. I think I've improved over the last year in this regard.

Once it's all written out I then begin checking off each task in Twine - the engine used for this game. It's a fairly straightforward process - something I used to do for when I wrote stories on CHYOA... Though that was far less involved.

Thanks for the insight! Your decisions have always been on point for my preferences. Therefore I am willing to wait and see ;) Since you reacted to the Emily Bloom gif in discord - she does have a lot of content which would fit story-wise into the game (photoshoots, lingerie try-ons and so on). Take a look when you have the time.

Chiming in to say I don't get the criticism either, obviously you maintain the same basic features, and personally I can suspend my disbelief for the rest. It's a small price to pay for a much wider pool of images to work with, which means more content, which means happier us. Focusing too hard on pleasing everyone is toxic for the soul anyways, keep doing it how you're doing it.
