 Hi there,

I've been thinking about adding a hint function into the game for some time, though struggling with how it should be implemented...

I'm not a huge fan of breaking the fourth wall, especially when immersion is paramount, and so to this point I've avoided using hints in Control App so that the players' decisions aren't steered in a certain direction. However it has been requested and so we have a choice to make.

My thoughts are;

  • Integrate hints directly in the game via the laptop's replay function.
  • Create a separate document as a guide/walkthrough.
  • Maintain a 'no hints' policy... though I realise this probably isn't going to be the preference for most.

This poll will be open indefinitely, and only to Addict/Developer tier patrons.
