Old description:

We are going to a picnic-photosession, it will be held today. All June's special content will be sent out today! And also, the other day, we will publish all the other photos and you can see them! Together with us on this adventure will go one of our old friend.

Why does the word friend in English sound the same for friend-girl and friend-boy? How can I put it so that everyone understands who I am talking about? It always bothers me so much ... LOL😁

In any case, we even made a little video for you about how we are going. It turned out to be a little sad because of the music, but we like it very much and we think that it fits here the most! What do you say?

PS. If you're interested, yes, we received a copyright infringement warning related to the music we used in the background in the video. Funny.

in english the gender is put in the front so boy-friend girl-friend , the word friend is neutral so can refer to anybody nonspecifically

And more than that. The words "girlfriend" and "boyfriend" mean the person with whom you are in a relationship. Right? Or is it not a necessary consequence?

Sometimes. English is very strange. 😳 Girls “often” refer to other girls as girlfriends - even when not in a relationship. Just good friends. And “boyfriend” is usually reserved for someone in a relationship. Boys usually reserve “girlfriend “ for someone in a relationship.
