The article I was going to post today was an illustration for work, but when I checked with the person I was going to post it to, he replied that he didn't want me to publish it yet, so I had to postpone posting it.

I'll draw an illustration and post it soon, so please bear with me.

So, I'm going to try to write something miscellaneous.

As I tweeted on Twitter the other day, I've been trying to learn how to drink coffee for the past few months.

The reason why I don't like coffee in the first place is because it is "bitter". So, I thought if I could overcome this, I would be able to drink it. As a result of my research, I learned that "light-roasted coffee has strong acidity but little bitterness. So, I started with the most affordable equipment (about 6,000 yen) and bought some light-roasted beans.

Since Asaki likes milk tea, I thought I'd start with café au lait, so I bought café au lait blend beans as well as shallow-roasted beans, and ground the café au lait blend beans first.

... It's a little bitter, after all.

To be honest, even though I ran over the beans and roasted them with the same tools and methods I saw on Youtube, the taste was still in my imagination. Of course, it tasted pretty good, but it was a bitter and sweet café au lait.

Then, the next day, I ground up some shallow-roasted beans and tried drinking it.

What the hell? What the heck is this! It's really not bitter! lol

I was surprised. It's not that it's not bitter at all, but it's a completely different taste from the image Asagi had of coffee until now. I can see why they say it has a strong acidity, and a slight bitterness. It almost disappears when you make it into a café au lait. This one is easy to drink! And.

This cup has completely changed my view of coffee, hasn't it? I realized that there are coffees that I can drink, and coffee became more interesting to me.

Since then, I have developed a routine of grinding 13 grams of coffee beans almost every morning and making a café au lait. I also make coffee when my family asks me to..

The first beans I bought for trial were 100 grams, so I had to finish them in about a week. So, I changed stores and bought several kinds of beans, including the shallow-roasted ones. However, the shallow roasted beans are the most comfortable. By comparing the different types of beans, I started to notice the difference in taste due to the difference in the degree of infusion. I see what you mean.

That's why coffee is now a part of Asaki's life.

When you start something new, you gain a lot of interesting discoveries and experiences, and your life becomes broader.

I don't know how much of an impact it will have on Asaki's manga, but before I start working, I spend some time thinking, "What should I drink today?". Tthis is very nice time.

Well, that's it for today. Bye bye.
