Winter, a time of magic and whimsy for many, had Molly grumbling slightly as she stepped through her and Inari’s apartment. Her companion had gone all out with the lights and ornaments, covering every corner with strands of multicolored bulbs and sparkling garland.

“You didn’t have to go this far,” the witch groaned, cupping her mug of tea before taking a sip.

Inari shook her head, rejecting the notion from her girlfriend. “Come on, it’s our first Christmas together and my first one not in my family’s house. We’re 20, Molls–what’s wrong with celebrating a holiday?”

Molly felt the goth attitude seep into her voice. “You mean the appropriated pagan celebration of the winter solstice that’s been hijacked by cap—”

Inari threw her hands up, “Whoa there gloomy, no need to bite my head off about it. Just thought it’d make you feel more at home given your upbringing.”

The witch knew she was right and hung her head. Her girlfriend was just trying to do something nice for her. “Still don’t have a tree though,” Molly grumbled.

Inari brightened up, “Actually I’m glad you mentioned that, if you want you can help me set it up.” She took Molly by the hand, leading her across the room where an old school metal Christmas tree stand waited. Based on its size it was meant to hold a larger tree. Its opening was wide enough that Molly could have stood in it, and that’s exactly what Inari asked her to do.

She considered questioning it but  because of her earlier outburst decided to let it go and humor her girlfriend. She couldn’t have expected the material would animate briefly and encase her feet in metal, locking her in place.

Molly looked up at Inari with concern in her eyes, seeking an explanation for the sudden entrapment. Inari shot her a teasing smile, something that caused Molly to shiver. Inari reached forward and grabbed the edge of Molly’s shirt, pulling it up over her head. There wasn't a fight, only acceptance as Molly gave in to the teasing domination Inari provided. Because the witch had decided to roam their apartment in only a diaper and a t-shirt this left her with little in the way of clothing.

With only the padding wrapped around her waist Molly shivered slightly, feeling the draft of the Chicago walk-up grace her skin. “What happens now?” she asked, feeling a stirring curiosity about what her girlfriend’s teasing may bring.

Inari beamed at her, pulling the lid off of a tote container. “Now I decorate the tree of course!”

Molly, realizing her intentions, shook her head and Inari ignored her, picking up a reel of lights that matched the ones strung around the living room. She worked the string up Molly's legs in a tight spiral. The witch, feeling thoroughly embarrassed, squirmed relentlessly.

Inari giggled as her spool of lights came up to the diaper. She carefully avoided covering the rainbow-colored plastic shell of Molly’s thick padding, leaving it on full display while the rest of her was encased. “Can’t hide the main attraction,” Inari teased, “and stop squirming–we’ve got a fair bit to go.”

Molly obeyed, relaxing as the lights continued to work up her body, locking her arms in place at her sides. She was impressed by the expert way Inari worked the cord up her body, none of the bulbs turned inwardly and jabbed the immobilized diaper girl. Still, they remained tight enough to prevent any sort of squirming movement.

Her wrapping job was also incredibly tactical, leaving the entirety of Molly’s diapered bottom and her bare bust totally exposed while the rest of the cordage covered her body in a green plastic cocoon. The plug that topped the end stopped just below Molly’s neck and tucked securely away.

She looked at Inari and rolled her eyes. “Are you done?” she asked.

“Done? Oh no Molls, this is just the first layer, you’re not a proper tree yet.”

From the same box, Inari pulled a yellow star with a bundle of green garland and a cap attached to it. “I know you can’t move a bunch but hold still, yeah?”

Molly shook her head. “What do you mean? What’s that going to do?” she asked.

Inari answered her by placing the cap on her head and jumping away. Molly wasn’t exactly prepared for the magnificent motion that occurred. The pile of garland above her head unfurled, creating a spiraling cone that extended all the way down to the stand holding the witch’s feet secure. Now she saw the whole picture. The cone represented the outer layer of the tree while she stood as its trunk, the rudimentary cap securing the entire apparatus to her head along with the large yellow star at the top.

Inari hummed, pleased to see her vision come to fruition as she plugged in the lights wrapped around Molly. A soft glow filled the room, emanating from the bound girl. Its twinkling rays bounced off the shiny plastic of her diaper, making it even more pronounced due to how the bulbs framed it. While the strand of lights cast a warm glow, the star on top of Molly's head glowed brilliantly, making the perfect topper to the apartment’s new Christmas tree.

Inari–after admiring her work–returned with basic glass ball ornaments, hanging them off the spiral cone around Molly’s body.

“So what now?” Is this it?” Molly asked.

“Well yes and no,” Inari replied, placing balls one by one, “once the tree is all done we’ll be set up for the guest tonight.”

That phrase caught Molly’s attention. “Wait what!?” she asked, feeling herself shake under her bonds.

Inari smiled at her, snaking her hand through the wireframe spiral and brushing her fingers against Molly’s diaper, eliciting another shudder from her. “I’m just trying to make you a little more comfortable outwardly, you diaper dork, so I invited some people over who won’t care about you being a big baby.”

There came a knock at the door, causing the pair to perk up. “Oh, my family is here!” Inari exclaimed, walking away from Molly who stood helplessly in the living room, a bright and glorious centerpiece for the holiday.

She considered calling out before the door opened but could only whimper five simple words. “But I have to pee…”
