It's been quite a busy start to the New Year for me. Aside from neglecting some of my other responsibilities, I've managed to iron out the levels and the story beats for HB2. In addition to that, we have our OC Character Cameo going on, so get on those socials and give it the ol' retweet/repost (depending on platform) even if you're not interested in partaking!

Lustfall Update 9

This is getting put to the side until Hanaja's Body 2 in One is complete, as soon as I get the public release out there. I am waiting on a few more pieces of art and then I will drop the announcement. My plan is to let people know of a date tomorrow, but I need to check on what the timeline is on that art.

The content is the same, it's just added a character cameo and a few more CGs that can be viewed in the Lewd End gallery if you've already completed where you would normally encounter them.

Hanaja's Body 2 in One

Ok! The framework of the level design is now done and the major story beats are IN. It's about time to start on the combat specifics now that I have the artwork for the enemies and bosses. As for the levels, they are as follows:

  • Cinderella's Castle
  • Moolissa's Milk Caverns
  • Trixie's Woods
  • Hell

With Victoria and Hanaja starting the adventure combined, they don't start with a level that's dedicated to them. Instead the fourth area is a big final zone that puts the skills of all of the transformations to the test! But we're getting ahead of ourselves...

This past month I also completed the lovely Woods level. This is where a very naughty goblin has taken over and turned all of Trixie's submissives against her! You will have to explore the vast area and complete at least one of four different quests to unlock the boss fight.

It will be quite tough to fight Goblith, the boss of this story (level), by just doing the minimum. It's highly recommended that you do each of the four quests in order to make the fight a bit easier on yourself. Otherwise, she will get a big boost in power for each uncompleted quest!

These quests are relatively simple, so don't worry about getting side-tracked. There's also a bit of variety between them, so if you don't like one of them you can still do the other three and be in a good position.

With the final chapter, Hell, there will be more of an emphasis on Vampire/Demon enemies and attacks, as opposed to the other transformations. With all of the forms at your disposal, it should be pretty straight forward if you've been paying attention. 

I still might think of some things to make it trickier since it's the final level, but I don't want to lock anyone out of progression so it makes things tough to design around.

After all is said and done, you will confront the well-read demon that is behind all of this and learn of her motivations. The Raconteuse had plans to seal Victoria in her magic tome to drain her powers, but Hanaja just happened to ruin the plans by being annoying. Classic!

This woman is craftier than she looks! Upon defeating her the first time, the gang will find themselves back at Cinderella's Castle. The enemies will be tougher in each level and there will be a secret that you should be able to now discover. Collect the magical MacGuffin hidden in each chapter and you will unlock the true final fight!

The plan is to have each of the levels NOT reset, so you don't have to do everything again, but give you stronger enemies for big EXP and have a stronger version of the chapter's boss as a guardian of said MacGuffin. I want to test the player's skills and throw some interesting challenges at them once they have the tools to properly combat it.

I also still need to find a solution to my voice problems. I might just have to stick the same SFX in this game, since I don't have a ton of time to shop around right now. It's tough, since I am essentially writing for five characters at the same time, all with different voices and ways of speaking. PHEW!

Other Stuff

I might get the DoV2 art packs up on Gumroad soon. It's been about a year, which is my target time frame for the CGs. It's not a priority, but it's something different to work on and doesn't take more than a Saturday evening, so it's good for the brain to chew on something else for a bit.

I also downloaded Godot and messed around for a few minutes in it. I don't know what I'm doing in the engine yet, but they have a "my first game owo" tutorial that looks like it wouldn't take more than an hour or two to go through. If I go through something like that, I should get a hang of the basics. Then I might make a clicker game in my spare time (SFW, no naughty things) just to get some experience. Something very simple to start... Emphasis on might.

It's also about time to get my taxes sorted for this next tax year. I did a good business and paid my expected taxed by the quarter for 2023, so hopefully I won't be completely decimated like in previous years. Still probably going to have to pay a little extra. Oh well...

With that note, that's all I have for right now. It's time to dive back into Hanaja's Body for the rest of the night ;) and start on the enemy combat systems, the passive effects, aligning everything, etc...
