Aha! You didn't think it would happen this month, but I planned to do it all along! Since I usually do this on Thursdays and last Thursday was a holiday, I decided to push this back a week.

As you can see by the graphic above, we are making STRIDES! It's not easy to push forward with Lustfall sometimes, especially when I am also working hard on Hanaja's Body 2 at the same time, but we are making good progress with the art and the final bonus dungeon.

When we're this close to completion, we should have a date soon. There are a few things that are holding me back from announcing some concrete dates. The first is finishing the Soul Cage, then playtesting all three new dungeons coming to Update 9 (Golden Sands chapter, Trance Trickhouse, and Soul Cage). It will take some time to go through and ensure that the balance is passable for Lustfall standards, assuming everything works as it should and the flow is good.

The second thing is some unlisted art assets. The first is a special art for the antagonist (and possible protagonist) of the Soul Cage dungeon. The second is the new title card! It's important to update it so people can visually recognize each new update and give me some fresh marketing material. 

Finally, I am looking into adding some art to some of the more popular Lewd End CGs. These could take a while, so what I might do is release the Early Access Update 9 version with whatever is ready once I'm done with it to get it in the hands of the Early Access enjoyers. I can then spend some time to add in a few extra CGs between then and the public release of U9 just so it's out there in some capacity and hopefully we can catch any fatal flaws my testing might miss.

The Soul Cage

With the completion of the dungeon's loop, I've had some time to work on the mini-bosses and random mobs. There's a strong theme of metal bondage, to match the theme of the prison, with some occult possession and "re-education" themes as a fun excuse to bust out some of the battle cards back from the Studium Amare.

Mini-bosses?! That's right! There's 4 of them to defeat as you work your way up to the Head Warden's office. You can only fight them if you become possessed and are marched up to them on that floor. At first, things will seem tough since you auto-attack while possessed. As you progress, however, you'll find Soul Shackles that you can (and should) equip to your most useful party member and make them immune to the status effect.

While the wardens (mini-bosses) take bonus damage from possessed characters, it's wise to have a few that you can actually use to cast spells and use items. Each mini-boss has a slightly different flavor, so you can expects to see a wide variety of different lust magics based on their names and color schemes.


Thank you all for your continued support going into the holiday season! There are times that I wish I had the flexibility to do small, holiday themed updates, but since I have to rely on commissions for artwork and then take extra time to make sure it works in the game, it's not really possible with something like Lustfall at the moment. That's not to say that nothing like that will happen in the future, but it will be easier to get things going with games in the future once Lustfall is complete.

As soon as I feel confident about a date, I'll let everyone know! I am hoping for end of December/Early January for this content-packed, penultimate update!
