With things starting to get back on track and the weather teasing some actually decent temperatures, it's time to get going on some new hotness! I have art cooking for Update 8 of Lustfall and ideas brewing for what's coming next in the pipeline of primo games.


Lustfall

The pieces are nearly in place, it's only a matter of the art now! That, and a few more touches to the Derriere Day Spa. We have the big mechanic of this area set up: Tension. I'll dive more into this in the Lustfall specific post in a few weeks, but I'll tease you with a screenshot.

As you can see, in the upper left hand corner is a a gauge. If it maxes out, it's game over (with a special lewd ending)! There are plenty of ways to reduce the tension gauge, including taking a dip in this tempting hot spring. If you have high enough tension, you might get an extra special surprise. ;)


Hanaja's Body 2 / Victoria's Body 4?

I've talked about the dual TF system to be featured in this game and I am very excited to try it out. Zinovia (the artist) and I have been having a lot of discussion on what sorts of kinky things will be offered, so there is plenty of interest. I will be starting on this game soon... but not yet. That's because I had an idea a little over a week ago that has corrupted my brain and now I'm making the following as my next game (then HB2/VB4)...


Escape Fuck Island (definitely not the actual title)

This is my take on a "don't get caught" style game with a roguelite twist. The premise is that you are offered a large sum of cash (like $50k) to be dropped on the middle of an island. All you have to do is escape. If you do, the money is yours. If you get caught, you'll become a sex slave to those on the island.

There's no combat, so you'll need to avoid enemies and traps as you run through the island, searching for the four digits to the big door back at the drop point that unlocks the exit! Get caught once, you lose your clothes. Get caught a second time, you lose your undies. Get caught a third time, game over!

You'll play in a first person perspective to increase the tension of the experience. You'll be able to hear enemy footsteps depending on how high your ART (Alertness) stat is. It will also influence whether or not traps are visible to you, so some characters will have a easier time than others in dodging the bamboozles.

The island will be pseudo-randomly generated so each attempt is going to mix things up. I've figured out how to do so in my prototype, so it's a matter of putting it to scale. As far as you the player are concerned, each "map" of "chunk" will be designed by me with everything manually placed (some random shenanigans will be afoot for traps and hunter spawns) so you get an experience like Enter the Gungeon, at least as far as how the island is generated.

It's a little empty at the moment, but this mansion will be the main hub. You'll start the game playing as Lauren Ann Jodie, a definitely not OC clone of Lara Croft. She's a daredevil socialite that hears of the island and agrees to take part in the game for the thrill of the chase! I plan to have two more unlockable characters, each with their own art and game over CGs.

Rumor has it that there are temporary transformations in the game that will help you out, or at least give you an extra "hit."


Timeline

Ideally, this new game won't take as long to develop as a VB or DoV game since there's not a lot of combat math to balance around or big lore to develop... but it's extra technical and code intensive, plus there's a lot of fiddle with for the MV3D plug-in I'm using to make the maps so that adds extra tedium and time to every step of the process, so it's hard to put a solid date down for sure. There's just more unknowns, like there is when trying anything new.

Lustfall Update 8 is very close to completion and the art is almost all accounted for, so it's just waiting for those who are still working on pieces to finish things up for me. I expect Update 8 to arrive sometime in May but definitely no longer than June.

Following that, Escape Fuck Island (or whatever the real name is going to be) is next on the list. Might be a budget title depending on content length and dev time, but it's rough to sell any of the games for less than $10 to be honest with you all and might not be possible. Hopefully I will have it out by July and then VB4 for December? Very tentative and subject to change.


Other / Misc

I plan on rolling out the first of hopefully several "Lustfall Collection Art Pack" series on Gumroad. Each one will feature a specific artist from Lustfall (one that I've worked with a lot) and will have their full art works for sale in a bundle. It will work exactly like the first few CG packs do, splitting everything 50/50 with that artist as long as you use the affiliate link! It'd be interesting to see how well it does, especially because the Gumroad algorithm is pretty shit. But hey, it's still a way to get something out there for the fans!

Thank you all for the continued love and support! I hope that we will be able to reach that Milestone #3 for even more Lewd End Lustfall CGs in the future. We took a few steps back this month, but I'm not worried about it. I'm happy that people supported when they could and hope that they'll continue to enjoy Lustfall as we creep closer to the conclusion of the game!
