Update 8 Development Log - March 2023 (Patreon)

With DoV2 released on Itchio, Steam, and DLSite, I am now FREE to work on Lustfall again and I have been hard at work these past few weeks getting things ready for Update 8. I'm still trying to hold back a little as I wait for the tax guy to tell me how much I owe to Uncle Sam, but that won't stop me from getting a lot of commissions set.

Look at that first bar. So many amazing pieces locked down and in the works! Come the end of the month, I will have a lot more to choose from for another preview. I've also locked down most of the combat in the bonus dungeon: The Derriere Day Spa, so those are the 5 extra battle cards you see added to the counter. Just like before with the Drone Facility, a lot of the extras appear in Update 9, so we are making some free progress for fUtUrE cOnTeNt~

Just a little look at some of the enemies that you'll encounter throughout the tricky and mysterious Day Spa. There are a lot of themes of haunting and possession, so for those who enjoy such things, you'll really love this bonus dungeon. There are a lot of confusing elements to it (because ghosts are tricksters!) but with enough persistence, you'll make it through. You might even find some bonus scenes and CGs! o.O

If you want free stuff and character cameos, you will also visit the mansion in Monamor to meet Venomica. She might not be the friendliest woman, but she, like Minoa before her, is well worth taking a minute or two to go visit. For those who like to use magic, the Fetish Accessory she gives you will be quite enticing!

I still need to implement some of the special mechanics for the Day Spa, create the boss fight, and finish up some story elements to the dungeon but we are well on our way to Update 8. Once I have a better idea on when the rest of the art for those juicy battle cards come in, I will be able to give a better time frame on when we can expect the long awaited release!
