Eh wot? That's a new title! I thought long and hard about the name "Bondgetta and Heatstroke" as the proper title for this upcoming game and decided that, without context of knowing who or what these characters are, it means nothing to the average person so a name change was needed.

I settled on Damsels of Vice because a lot of superhero stuff has the main characters falling into devious traps and becoming damsels in distress. Vice is both a powerful word that hints at the naughty things but also plays on the villain's name... Dr. Adelle "Ada" Vice. All and all, I think it is a lot punchier and will pique the curiosity of customers more than the former one.

Lustfall

Not a lot to say about Lustfall. Update 6 is live and kickin' (with a few bugs, but that's to be expected from a project I worked on over a year ago). I may start to get some art done for Update 7 for previews... but I want to focus most of my time on DoV since I plan to get it out in another month or two.

While slower than anticipated, the new and improved Battle Cards are on their way! I've settled on a great base design that the artist, baconpanties, said is inspired by Japanese minimalism. When I have each of the templates completed, I'll share them in a separate post. Honestly, I'm happy to see progress on this finally being made.

Damsels of Vice - Bondgetta & Heatstroke

The content you are all here to see! I realized that last month I forgot to tease one of the most powerful aspects of the game and the central plot device...

BIMBOSIS! The bad doctor opens the game by "bimbotizing" our heroines, planting a  subconcious trigger that will transform them into dumb but loyal bimbos in both mind and body when they run out of stamina. Oh, but our heroines aren't the only ones getting the bimbo treatment. Some side characters may find themselves wanting to have some fun with out heroines too! Even Vice herself will embrace the mighty, dominating power of the bimbo by the end of the game. If you get that far... ;)

As you can see, Bondgetta is a little sealed up in her own struggles while Heatstroke has become a bimbo.

Or perhaps you prefer a Bondgetta flavored bimbo with a side of a very heavily bound Heatstroke? While bimbofied heroines are out of commission and can't fight, all other perils can be struggles against. Damsels of Vice goes beyond the typical Struggle system found in other games. Let's take a look at Heatstroke's options...

As you can see here, there are plenty of things to do besides just passing the turn. Each heroine has a standard set of actions and one default unique action. This ensures that Perils never bring the flow of battle to a halt like it does in a lot of other games. There may even be special equipment you can give to each heroine to give them even more options that what you see here!

Finally, there are just a few screen grabs from the first area you'll get to explore, a warehouse operated by the organized criminal syndicate, OKRA. Be sure to expect some mischief and deception! After all, mobs aren't known for their honesty.

So, here's the plan so far (may be subject to change):

  • Retail Price: $9.99USD
  • Release Date Target: Mid/Late December
  • Platforms: itch.io (Initial release) followed by DLSite (day or two later, has to be censored and approved) and Steam (more complicated so it may take a week or two)
  • Four Dungeons: Each one introduces a unique Peril, has a unique battle loss CG, a unique boss and several enemies.
  • Difficulty Modes?: Tinkering with the idea of difficulty modes that make it easier to react to attacks and mow through the trash mobs... Also thinking about adding a super difficult (optional) New Game+ difficulty that amps up the stats on all of the enemies and makes their attack patters tougher (along with other changes to spice up the difficulty).

Well that's it for now, I need to get back to work on the game itself (even though I love talking about it). Thanks again for all of your enthusiastic support and I hope you are all looking forward to this next exciting game!!!!

This is THE Sub Supreme signing off.

Stay safe, stay kinky~

Oh hey, by the way... Did you know that the artist, Zinovia, works on the art for the game on her Picarto Stream. If you follow her stream, there's a good chance that you will see her work on the art for the game over the next months.

Gotta say, name change is fitting. Did a good job with that. And December you say? Can't wait.

As a personal note, I feel a difficulty setting would be a good idea, especially if there are levels you can change during the game.. One of the few problems with Veronica's body is that after awhile you just mow down everything with no way to toughen things up again unless you start a new game entirely.

Difficulty can be hard to nail down. With games like this, some people grind every fight in each area, while others speed through as fast as possible to see all of the content so when it comes to the late game, people are at very different levels. I'm hoping that the difficulty will make things a bit more customizable on the level of challenge, even if it's mostly stat buffs for the AI.
