Update 6 Development Log - September 2021 (Patreon)

September is still sizzlin' and even though the Cheerleader update of Veronica's Body is out, the team spirit is not over yet! Oh no, it's time to do some homework and sign up for the kinkiest of classes because Lustfall Update 6 is nearly here!

So, the upgraded card backs will not be in this update. The artist who was going to work on them decided to back out due to IRL issues so I am shopping around for others. One of the artists has expressed interest but the price they quoted me is many times above what the previous artist quoted so I need to shop around while I organize the budget for it. Normally it wouldn't be much of an issue but I just financed Game #3 so I need to wait a bit or shop around for a lower rate.

 So I've talked a lot about this Update so far and the reason why there is so much more art is because the college theme opens up a lot of room for different elements and types of lust magic despite being a singular dungeon. There are a lot of new attacks and while the majority of the attacks will be Mundane in element, the handful of mid-bosses/sub-bosses in this dungeon brings in more diversity of powerful Nature, Machine and even Occult type spells.

This battle, for example, features a lot of delicious new Mechanical attacks... But that's not all. You'll need to be extra careful with your attacks and spells because if one of the gals attacks their new friend Nancy, they'll be in big trouble for the rest of the fight!

You'll also be fighting against plants as well. You are free to attack everyone and spam spells in this fight, but I would caution against relying too much on AoE once again because you might find yourself getting tangled up in the roots of a battle of attrition.

Finally, there is one very obscure secret I want to share with everyone today. I'll admit, this secret is pretty obscure and almost no one would figure it out on their own but it's for a trinket accessory so it's more of a fun secret than anything else. Plus, it gets people talking about the game some more which is always good.

Obscured by a big, blue crate is a key to the equipment closet that you'll be able to access part way through the dungeon or after the dungeon and it is located in the parking lot. This key unlocks the door and after a small puzzle room, you'll be able to get the magical trinket for the dungeon that give a powerful AoE magic spell. If we ever become big enough to implement the dream JP/Spell Learning system then it will be a must-have for sure but until then it can be our little secret. (TBH, pretty excited about the idea of revamping the combat some day. Have tons of ideas for a fun system and cool enhancements.)
