Update 5 Development Log - March 2021 A (Patreon)

The art and the title screen are being worked on in full force and thanks to the success of Victoria's Body, I have a bigger budget to work with this time. It feel good to be able to afford some extra quality and I think that the extra money put into the art will show with the level of detail of these new lewds!

In addition to the 13 planned NEW battle cards for this update, I've also been working with an artist who I've previously worked with in the past to touch up their flat images to improve the image quality throughout the entire game. If you're a fan of Maju and their work, you'll notice that every piece they've done for Lustfall has been vastly improved upon.

As you can see, a lot more shadow/lighting and texture work has gone into these improvements which might not be immediately noticeable on their own, but when you compare them side-by-side the difference in quality is really amazing. As long as support for Lustfall and other projects continue to grow, I will be able to continue to commission high quality images as opposed to taking the more budget-friendly options.

About the dungeon itself, you might have noticed from last week's sneak-peek that Willow Webb makes an antagonistic return. Now with the whole team ready to fight, how will this boss fight change things up? Well, you'll have to wait to see. I wonder, how does she play into the larger picture? Surely she's not just some random recurring boss...

Nothing is official yet, but I expect Update 5 of Lustfall to be ready on 4/1 (or 4/2 because April Fools day and honestly it's super annoying to plan around) so that means at the latest, I expect early access to open at that date. Hopefully, it will be earlier but it was pretty hard to get commissions in Feb so many artists are working through backlogs.
