Let's talk about this hot new game that is coming out soon! It's nearly complete! Like, I have a few more cosmetic touch-ups and then it's just a couple of playthroughs for balancing adjustments. If it wasn't for the holidays, I would guarantee it out next Tuesday (Dec. 29th). That being said, it's still my target date so I hope to see a lot of new Victoria stans (do people still say that anymore?) to ring in the new year!

Why should you be excited? There are a lot of reasons, ESPECIALLY if you are into the Transformation fetish or TF (both voluntary and involuntary ). I've also carved out a new, table-top like combat system from the standard RPG maker engine to make fights more exciting and dynamic! If you are in it for the writing, there is a lighthearted story to tie things together with some fun characters.

What you are looking at in the first screen shot is the Castle Parlor a.k.a. the hub world. From there you will be able to buy equipment and items, heal/de-transform yourself and even transform specific parts of your body with crystals that drop from enemies. At first, the bottom two paths are open (after the tutorial in the Library, the Gardens will also open up to you) and they are about the same level of difficulty in terms of combat.

The Living Quarters in the top left opens up next, followed by the Armory in the top right. Finally, once all areas are cleared out, you can head up the stairs for the final fight against the demon Hanaja herself!

There are game over scenes for when you lose in battle (text no CG) but there are no true game overs, meaning that even if you lose you'll appear back in the parlor to continue playing so you never have to worry about losing progress. Additionally, you can save where ever and whenever you want to so there is no hunting for save points! Hooray!

Something else I wanted to touch on is the combat. Aside from what I already said in the previous dev log, there is another aspect that mixes things up called Range. As you can see both by the battle background and the icon above the enemy's head, there are markers for In Melee Range and Out of Melee Range. What it is influences which attacks you can use and how some other attacks may behave. Generally speaking, you will always have a skill to change your Range and doing so before the enemy attacks may cancel their attack altogether! Be careful, because some enemies can also manipulate Range!

I hope you are all excited for Victoria's Body! This is a big step for me as a erotica/game developer and I hope that this game is successful enough for me to convince the artist to do more transformations for updates or DLC (Imagine all the mix & match combinations! I am so hype!)
