I can't believe we are already halfway through September. Time is just flying... but at the same time it feels like we have been in the same year forever now. Strange how these sorts of situations work. But enough of my reminiscing, you're here to learn more about the next wonderful Update.

The positive news is that I have over half of the commissions needed for this next update paid for. For pretty much every update aside from this one, that would be enough to put a ring on it and solidify an announcement date. However, since this next update is so massive since it encompasses multiple dungeons, I still have a lot of commissions to assign to new and returning talent. I'm at the point where I have to be creative with the little money I have left, so if you know of someone who might be excited to support the project, please share it with them. The more support we get, the faster (and better quality) the Update art can get commissioned.

I don't want to put a hard date to the release of Update 4 yet for obvious reasons, but I could see it dropping around November if everything goes according to plan.

Now that all of that is out of the way, let's talk about Monamor. Yes, the industrial city in the drylands of Heartlandia. It seems like things are not going very well ever since the mayor decided to lock down the factory. With so many people working at there, many of them had to leave to Blisopolis in order to survive.

Finally, Gwendolyn and the other heroines get a chance to see normal Heartlandia civilization and not just a trash hole run by the worst people imaginable. I hope it provides a breath of fresh air in contrast to the constant conflict up until this point in the plot. Things are finally normal... but they won't be for long. ;)

There are still plenty of people in the city holding out and fortunately all of the wonderful stores are open as well. From the sex shops to some new weapons and armor, you will have plenty of places to spend your gold and gear up! You'll want to keep a fair amount on hand, however, because you will need to take care of some financial debts in order to progress the story.

I never really liked building out cities or large places with a lot of people in my games but I am happy with how Monamor turned out. Honestly, I think RPGs go way too in-depth with cities and towns in their games with so little to do that it kills the pace of the game a lot of the time. My aim for Monamor was to create the illusion of a city, enrich the world building and lore, but keep it concise enough that every section of it was important to the game in some way.

Lastly, I'll just say that Syn has a few ties to the city and some people there that will come to light as our heroines continue on their quest so all the Syn stans will have something to look forward to.

I hope you enjoyed this month's reports. I'm thinking for October, I'll talk about the lovely 4th and final party member.

 Stay safe and stay kinky~
