Time to talk update 4! Woo! New update, new content. This one, due to the nature of the design, will be a lot bigger than the last one. There are 30 (possibly 31) new battle art cards and two whole dungeons (one story, one optional) are in the works for the next part of the Lustfall story.

You might have noticed that I didn't do a July 2020 B and that was because of the release! Obviously, when I launch an update there is not a lot to talk about with that update. Instead my time goes into the long market push and the emotional roller coaster that is  monitoring complaints and critiques to see if there are things that ACTUALLY need fixed.

With Update 3, there actually were a few things, so I did a quick fix. As much as I hate launching with any sort of bugs, it will happen from time to time. The biggest one was the encounter rate. I recently changed the formula to be a little more consistent but in doing so, made the encounters a bit too frequent. I know people don't like random encounters very much so I waited out the first few complaints. Lo and behold, I was getting that same feedback from multiple people and multiple sources so naturally, it was feedback worth looking into. Ultimately, that and another bug was enough for me to push out a fix instead of just waiting it out until the next Update.

Speaking of Update 4, progress is starting out well. My budget is still paper thin thanks to getting fucked about IRL, but I don't want to go into THAT again. In this case, especially since I have so much to commission, I play the waiting game with a lot of the requests. There are some budget friendly artists that are always open to commissions that I can knock some out of the way first, but for a lot of the pieces, I have to wait for artists to open their commissions and hope that I can get a slot before someone jumps in and takes all of them. Happens within minutes a lot of the times.

Progress will a bit slow at first, but I expect things to pick up in a bit as people open their commissions up.

Content wise, you have the Abandoned Factory and the Hypno-bandit Hideout to look forward too, focusing on machine based and hypnotism based attacks respectively. The hideout is unique in a lot of ways but I will go into that later... plus I am pretty sure I have to change some animations to prevent people from getting seizures when they go through it.

There is also the town of Monamor, an industrial city that is a hell of a lot more advanced than the first city you've witnessed. It's medium sized and has a lot of "normal" people for a breath of fresh air. It'll be fun to explore and you'll unlock a warp point between there and the mansion for extra convenience.

That's all for this edition of the bi-monthly Update Development Logs and are now looking forward to Update 4 even more!

Stay safe and stay kinky~
