Update 3 Development Log - June 2020 B (Patreon)

Second monthly update for June is here (Hence, "B"). I've been hard at work juggling a big job interview IRL and pushing to keep making progress on the main story while scouting for available artists to commission for the remaining pieces of art these past two weeks. It's been busy but I am happy with my successes all around.

First, mini-rant alert: The IRL job stuff didn't pan out after hours of working on "tests" and about 7 video interviews. I was basically on the part right before the offer when I got a form rejection letter. Additionally, it's against company policy to give me any feedback as to why I didn't get the job so who knows what I did wrong! This really sucks because I really need the money, I'm running out and don't have a lot of options right now. Agh!

Back to Lustfall: A few more lewds have been completed since the last update, which is great. A lot of the ones that are in progress (yellow) will pop soon as well so really all I need to do is get the final 4 paid for and commissioned and ensure that the title card is in the works and I should be able to throw down a date for this update. I am thinking, ball park, mid July should be when it's ready (hopefully sooner).

Also, in honor of pride month I managed to create some pixel pride flags that don't clash too much with the RPG Maker style which is a huge win for me, because I am NOT a pixel artist by any stretch of the imagination. Expect to see these flags in random locations around Heartlandia (with the exception of the RED City). If people like them enough, I might make a side quest out of trying to find all of them for some special items.

Other than that, I will have a lot more to talk about once the commissions are complete and I move into branching off the build for the third update (demo) and discuss some of the fun things that come up in debugging and dialogue tweaking. I expect for some quirks to pop up in testing as Cleo's Mansion is a place that is re-used throughout the game.
