Oh my God, we did it. Here is a full beta of the final Our Life: Beginnings & Always story 😭. I don't even know what to think about that, so I'll simply get into the explanation of how it works.

The story has no voice acting intentionally and is an entirely separate build from the main game. On PC and Mac you can load in a save file from the main game to bring all your information over into the Patreon story. The Android version doesn't let you load in a save file from the main game. There's not a way to do it on that system.

If you don't want to load a save or can't load a save, there's a questionnaire at the start of the Moment where you can fill in all the important details of your life.

When it comes to how the story progresses, there's multiple points in which you can start the interactive makeout/sex scene. If you want to get into it as soon as you walk through the hotel door, you can- and the relaxing scenes can happen after. If you want to rest for a while and then have some romance, you can do that too. It's only once you've changed into pjs that you've gone past the point of moving into the intimate scenes.

Things to Note:

This beta has a ton of small alterations in terms of when you did certain things, what you do and don't have, what Cove is meant to be wearing, and such. I'm sure there will be some other imperfections in the beta and incorrect continuities popping up. You're welcome to leave a comment to report any issues. But if you come across an error report screen, you can click the ignore button to keep playing! It doesn't mean the build has crashed entirely.

Also, Cove's tattoos don't appear in the second of the CGs. Those will be added in the complete version of the event as well.

1st of all I LOVED IT but I couldn't reach an ending because it kept looping after we finished "doing the do" he would say something like we shouldn't have bathed first and would loop back to going into the bathroom for the first time and his clothes would be back on and it starts over.. not sure if that's something I did but I tried using different options to break the loop but it did it 3 times for me before I gave up. Wasn't able to reach the end at all :(

Very cute so far but I'm experiencing a pretty big glitch. Post bath and massage when the mc gives cove the white lingerie it sends me to the main menu right before he puts it on.

I'm afraid the way around that is to not give him any, or some people don't get the bug with the black version. But it will be fixed in an update soon.

I can't understand one thing, when chosing your genitalia it calls it strapon if you are FtM, I don't know if it's the same when you chose to be a cis man or not, but is that meant to happen or is it a mistake? More because I assumed that as FtM the lower parts operation happened by default but I was a bit surprised to see it said strapon despite I put all the male options even if FtM.

I play on Android, first of all. After having a bath and massage, doing the horizontal shuffle and going to take a second bath, Cove appears in the bathroom in full wedding gear again and has the exact same conversation about the folding of the clothes and what to do with them in the future. The black lingerie scene goes to the main menu, I didn't try with the white (not a big fan of the aesthetic personally). Despite choosing male parts as FtM, as another mentioned, it talks about having a strap on. The first time I played through I wanted to have dual massages before getting into it, but then all of a sudden we were in our pjs. Not a big deal because I honestly imagine being too worn out to do much after a wedding, I figure I'd personally rather crash, but it was a little unexpected to sleep right after the massages.

Thank you for the report! It generally doesn't have you go straight from massage to bed unless you've already had the romantic encounter or you've completely turned off the sexual content, so that's probably a bug.

I can't wait to fully play this! To start off; I use Windows. I seem to be struggling- my background keeps flashing rapidly from the pictures to black and back again repeatedly, especially when mousing over the choices on the screen but occasionally doing so even when my mouse is on the background and still. Trying to ignore it isn't working very well, maybe I downloaded it wrong or something? EDIT: Redownloading didn't seem to change anything which is unfortunate.

Also when i started the intimate moment it was after we both bathed and massaged, at the beginning we took our towels off but a little while after when i chose to kiss him aggressively it said that we still had a thin layer of fabric between us

Whenever Cove strips down to his underwear it always says the same line about it being unsurprising and that he'd done it before we'd even started dating, and the only moment i can think of that he stripped to only his underwear on a beach is in step 4, but every time I've gotten this line of dialogue is when I've put in that he confessed in step 2.

I'm not sure if this was on purpose or not but when i chose to do the questions instead of loading in a save there is never a question asked about the color choice for the guests. I assumed because there were so many other questions about the moment that that would be one as well. Still had an amazing time playing though, just a small detail i noticed.

Man, I said I'm going to wait for the official release but here I am, back and couldn't wait to play. T__T It's kind of perfect since I have a long weekend, and replaying Our Life had always been a good read to me. I'm so excited to play the beta after my replay (currently) on Cove's Wedding DLC. Hoping to get the official release before the last day of August. Welp, this is my second month of subscribing around nearly end of the month. ( T∀T) But for Cove, it's worth it.

I had the above mentioned issue with a male top using a strap-on, and then when they switched positions it became clear that MC’s genitals changed overall. My Cove also had the wedding lei on throughout the experience which was pretty funny! I didn’t actually finish the scene after the strap-on bug but everything before that was super cute. Great job!
