Hello again everybody!
I survived my move, though it's technically not done. The place isn't ready so I'm writing this update from a hotel room. I really appreciate how understanding you've all been about my situation. The well-wishes were very sweet.
And I've gotta say, I'm pretty surprised that things went as well as they did this past month. So much happened that's outside the usual development areas, yet there's barely a dent in the normal progress counts. That's great, though, and I'll get right into the breakdown of it all.
Monthly Content Summary:
To start, between Derek's DLC and the Our Life: Now & Forever prologue and counting words that were properly written as scripts and words that were simply drafted, I got 62,920 words done in total. Also between Derek content and OL2 content, 32,790 words were programmed into the builds.
My hope in June was to get close to finishing the full draft of Derek Step 4 and it's sitting at around 80-85%. I'd say that counts as "close to done"! Especially, since I did take a break from drafting to actually write one of the drafted parts. And Derek's beta build did get updated as planned. It included all of his remaining Step 2 scenes. We're truly into Step 4 development now.
Our Life: Now & Forever finally had a new build release for the public demo. It was twice as long as the original with a bunch of neat improvements. The OL2 beta was re-released to also have the latest features.
I was happy to see that the Derek beta and OL2 demo both seemed to go over well with people!
Along with the normal script/build related work, Our Life: Beginnings & Always launched on a new storefront- GOG, we had three new VAs join the team, and I made that major move. I did decide not to launch the Derek DLC Coming Soon pages in June because it would've been squeezed in between too many other important announcements. It's been a busy time.

Wow, there are a lot of important links this month, haha. I can't believe we we released two beta builds and a demo update, finished running a casting call and filled the roles, had a game launch on another storefront, and I moved to a new state in just the past four weeks.
I've really gotta thank my sister who handled all the most time consuming parts of preparing for the move which let me continue working at a normal pace up until the actual travelling days happened. That made a huge difference.
