This is Ren's older brother, Devin! He's a whole six years older than the main cast (four years older than Ren), so he's already 20 in Step 2. Devin has a part-time job while also taking online college classes. He is living at home with Ren and his parents. But you rarely see him around.

If he's not shut up in his room or away for work, Devin is still unreachable most of the time. Devin is extremely independent and in his own world or, more accurately, his own head. He's always quietly thinking about stuff, whether it's how he needs to handle the rest of his schedule for the day or mulling over the themes of the latest show he's watching or just playing a song in his mind, Devin pays little attention to what's going on around. If you try to talk to him he might not even notice.

However, despite all that, family is very important and he's there for everything that really matters. Devin would be shocked if people were under the impression that he didn't care.
