Month End Post: October 2021 (Patreon)

Happy Halloween to those who celebrate!

Time is a blur and an illusion, haha. But we're keeping busy with the development of the Cove Wedding DLC and the Our Life: Now & Forever demo. They've both made plenty of progress lately. Here's the breakdown of it:

Monthly Content Summary:

We posted almost every day on the Patreon this month! A majority of it being new sprite and background pieces, though there were also some screenshots too and even music samples. Between the Wedding DLC and the OL: N&F demo, and combing drafting and proper scripting together, I got around 45,000 words written out in October!

But there wasn't just raw words on the digital page, we also programmed some stuff and released a beta that included the initial scene of the Wedding DLC. It was nice to see people enjoying it, despite how short it is. I'm nervously hoping everyone will like the content for the next Our Life game because October was the first month where I truly and fully wrote some Our Life: Now & Forever scenes. It's unbelieve to see real scripts existing for the project. We're finally at this point and I have no confidence in how it'll feel to actually play. Though, I do still take some solace in the fact that I felt like I had no idea what I was doing with the prologue of OL1 either. Fingers crossed it'll all go well when the time comes. And hopefully that time will come relatively soon, as long as nothing majorly stalling happens.
