Our Life: Beta Build 0.5! (Patreon)

It's here! The Our Life beta build for May is ready to go, and it's a good one. We've really kicked things up when it comes to how much progress is made between betas.

And while we're here, we'd also like to announce that we're going to have a special "live voice chat with the game dev" session in the private Discord. It'll happen on May 17th. If you'd be interested in talking with me about the current beta, what's coming next, or something else feel free to join us in the Discord for that.

It'll be possible to listen in and communicate through text, for those who can't/prefer not to use voice chat.

New Content: 

• 31,000 more words were added in total
• The Moment "Wave" is complete and not just the initial snippet
• Part 1 of the exceptionally long Moment "Soiree" was added
• The full Moment "Road Trip" is available to play
• The appearance part of the Cove Creator is now usable! You can design your own ideal look for Step 2 Cove instead of using the choice-generated one
• Important tweaks were made the point system to make it easier to get warm and sporty Coves
• New choice menus/options were added to some older events, as well as some small extra alterations  
• There are a couple more CGs to see in the new events
• A new background was added to the Moments that take place in the library
• Derek has a few more expression layers
• Some more hairstyle options were added to the character creation screen
• Ma now has a proper sleepwear outfit, which appears in older events and new ones
• Errors from the prior build were fixed
   

Known Errors:

• One of the new CGs is just a sketch currently 
• Saves from the old beta or the public demo will have errors if used with the new version. Please start a brand new file!
• New events don't have voice acting yet
• Step 2 just uses a normal menu to select Moments because the fancy screen hasn't been finished yet
