Our Life 2: Background Style Test (Patreon)

We recently announced the results of the Our Life 2 surveys.  After that ended, we contacted a talented background artist to make a couple concept pieces we could use as style references. They were able to finish them in a jiffy and so we already have something OL2 related  to share!

Both looks are extremely pretty, we think. The greener one has a whimsically nostalgic feel and the soft lines would mean the character sprites would  pop when laid over it. The more orange one has stunning detail and would add to the  immersion factor OL goes for.

We'll have to settle on a character sprite style first before we can  officially pick the direction of the backgrounds. It could be one of  these, or we might go with a middle point between the two. We hope  you're into it so far, though.
