Our Life Beta 0.2 (Patreon)

Hello! We're back again with a new and improved build of Our Life. Another feature has been added now; the Moment Select screen. The majority of the content for Steps 1-3 will be accessed through this screen. Rather than a straight VN that's a series of scenes one after another, the events are instead disconnected memories that can be played in any order. And you can also choose to not play some or even all of them. To continue to the next time period you simply have to click the button in the bottom right corer. Some events will be free , others will require purchasing DLC packs. All the Moments will be available to Patreons, regardless. Currently only Moment 1 of Step 1 is playable.

If you're wondering about Step 4, that will function more like a regular VN where all the scenes happen automatically one after the other in order to create a long and satisfying ending.

From now until the game is finished we'll be adding one or two new Moments to the build every month, so look forward to those regular updates!

Changes and Updates:

-The Moment Select Screen has been added and is functioning

-Moment 1 for Step 1 is now playable

-The choice screen has proper buttons and text formatting, however a few choice menus still appear too high up on the screen

-The gallery no longer causes an error, but CGs don't unlock in the gallery currently

-There were some small text errors that have been fixed

 Known Errors: 

-Saves from the previous beta may cause the Moment Select screen to display incorrectly, please start with a fresh file

-The second Moment isn't able to be locked, but there is no event there right now. Please don't click the button as it is. That will count the event as done, which means once the event has been added you won't be able to play it in that file since it's already checked off.

Both of those problems will be fixed in the next update.
