Month End Post: May 2024 Wrap-Up (Patreon)
Content
Hey everybody!
The end of spring is upon us, and it was the first entirely normal development month for me in a while. Though it was only normal in the sense that I wasn't spending multiple days of May on a trip. But what I did during all those work hours was actually pretty different. Let's get into the breakdown-
Monthly Content Summary:
To start, 44,900 words were scripted, 5,650 words were drafted, and that makes the total for the month 50,550 words of content put down. You might be able to tell that my goal for writing this month was entirely centered on creating actual scripts rather than drafting out new scenes or brainstorming. Those words finished the last chunk of the “Mixed Up” script, and approximately two thirds of the final Step 1 Moment, “Moving”. The little bit of drafting was planning and outlining the Fall Ended section. That draft isn't done.
But writing is a lot harder than drafting, so this wasn't an easy month to keep up the normal pace. I'm looking forward to there being more of a balance between drafting and writing again next month. Since so much effort was used on writing, there was less energy left to go into other things.
Only 3,000 words were programmed. It was for the start of "Slumber Party" Part 1, and adding in some new alterations to older scenes.
But in other news, we're currently hiring! I've opened up applications for sensitivity/authenticity readers to go over Step 1 of OL: N&F. That's exciting.
One other major event happened in these past weeks, and that was the demo got the Moment "Wheels". We hadn't expanded the public build in many months. It was great giving it an update.
