Yeah I think my favorite aspect of this episode is the shadow that losing Alex has left on the entire Roci-crew. Obviously the war has taken a toll on all of them, but Alex used to be the one who would come by with cheesy humor and food to calm everyone down. They really struggled with creating an outlet for their stress without him. The writers had a really difficult task honoring the character, without honoring Cas Anvar, and I think this was one of the best ways they could have done it. I think your analysis on Filip was interesting as well. His arc isn't easy, and sometimes people seem to have trouble understanding him. But I think he's one of the most interesting characters in the entire series and it's clear that he has a lot going on in his head right now. I think it's really interesting to see that develop moving forward. Also it's great to see you back on this show! I think this is one of the strongest seasons of the show, with a fantastic (hopefully temporary) ending, so it really does deserve to be seen. The Expanse (and Mortal Kombat) are why I subscribed to your YouTube channel in the first place. While it's a shame, it's completely true that The Expanse, and reactions to it, don't seem to garner the viewership numbers that they deserve on places like YouTube. So it's good to see that you're still reacting to it, all the same in some capacity. Plus from what I've seen, the fanbase does seem to be full of people willing to support other fans of the show, so hopefully a few other Expanse-fans will subscribe here for it, like I did.

Also as an FYI, the first five episodes each have a 5-Minute short episode attached to it. They're not "essential", but they inform on what the character's are going through this season and are really worth watching. Even if you don't end up reacting to them, you should probably check them out. You can find the mini-episodes in the X-Ray special features section on Amazon when you pause an episode. It's above the cast names. It's accessible on Computers and on mobile, but not on Television or Gaming Console apps.
