Recording Issues/Skipped Frames (Patreon)

Hey all. Apologies but it's likely going to be a couple more days before I get any new videos posted. I'm having serious issues with recording any videos. I currently use streamlabs OBS software both for streaming and for recording my reaction videos. And for some reason, at the moment, every time I try to record, it skips frames constantly, leading to the recording stopping/not being saved at all. There's usually only a couple of reasons for this. Encoder settings being too high (mine are not - in fact they're lower than I would like or the computer should be able to handle just because I've had issues in the past with this), CPU being maxed out (mine is running less than 10 percent while recording) or network issues (but I'm not using the internet to record videos offline, so I don't see how that would be relevant). 

So, I'm utterly baffled and am spending literally hours every day over the past few days experimenting with this and trying to fix it - time I had planned to use filming and editing reaction videos. If I can't get it figured out in a couple of days, I'll have to try to record using an alternative method (like I used to do with my phone) - though that will greatly increase the editing time, which I really don't want. Sorry about the delay everyone. This has been super frustrating for me.
