Hello again all! I decided to mix up my planned editing/posting order because fans of Dark have been waiting quite a while since the last episode was uploaded. So, here you'll find a link to my full length review and reaction to Season 1 Episode 8 of Dark. Ulrich REALLY took things in a disturbing direction this episode! How did you feel about what he ended up doing?

One of the things I love the most about this series is the ongoing discussion about human nature vs free will. Which one really drives our decisions. Are we really free in what we do. The Ulrich/Helge scene is seriously the most disturbing thing I've seen on tv. When I watched it for the first time I was horrified. But now after losing my son Dillon to traumatic brain injury, I can't watch that scene. For obvious reasons, but also because it calls into question how far I might go to change things and get Dillon back. Watching this series since losing a child, it really hits on a whole nother level and has made me see just how incredibly thought out and well written it is. This is, imo the darkest episode of the series and from here on out is where things start to really progress. So excited for penultimate ep and finale. Thanks so much for sliding this into the schedule Molly xx
