Good morning everyone! After all of the Mortal Kombat 11 information that came out yesterday evening, I decided to unwind before bed with another episode of Penny Dreadful! This episode was incredibly intense! Attached you'll find a link to my reaction and review of the episode, which can be found on google drive.

I just wanted to quickly say welcome to all of our new community members! Thank you so much for your support! Also, as a head's up - I probably will not be online much today (Saturday) because my father is coming to visit (and hopefully film some Game of Thrones reactions). Thanks again everyone!

All the best,

Molly

The siege at the house took place over a course of 4 weeks. Another thing that was hinted at was how Ethan said he did not believe in God but was able to spit out those prayers in Latin like it was his first language. I love how well the writers are able to sprinkle backstory hints across the entire series. Every little detail about this series , the acting, writing, production is meticulous and amazing! Eva's scenes left me shook! Ethan broke my heart with his Eva scenes and his story about the Native children. Another potential hint at his backstory. I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH lol I was so happy to wake up to this, thank you Molly! So enjoying watching this with you!!

Once again Eva Green might just be the best actress working today, she is incredible.

Absolutely! She impresses me every time I see her but she really blew me away this episode. I imagine that kind of physical acting must be difficult to do with conviction and come across realistically but she did it!

Oh that is an excellent point about Ethan's ability to say those prayers without any thought or difficulty at all! This episode was fantastic all the way around. Everyone's acting was top of the line here (especially Eva's, of course). While I feel that Vanessa and Ethan clearly stole the show, there were some excellent moments for Sir Malcolm, Frankenstein, and even Sembene (is that the right spelling? lol) this episode too! It was my favorite and the most emotional by far. I can't wait to see what the finale brings! And thank you for pushing me to watch the show!!!
