Two Towers review As grand and epic as the films that bookend this trilogy I can't help but feel the length of this film and for me it makes it the weakest in the series. The best thing this film has going for it is the character development and the addition of Gollum is a real highlight. The battle of Helm's Deep is fantastic and it's refreshing to see a battle that is watchable and not just a frenzy of cuts and swords clashing. All in all a great film and a necessary chapter of the story however it just doesn't reach the heights of Fellowship or Return of the King. P.S Sam has forever changed the way I say PO-TA-TOES
