Is The Wolf of Wall Street Martin Scorsese's best film? No, however it is 3 hours of Scorsese flexing and striking all of his best poses and I love every second of it. Everything in this film is firing at a high level. Down to the directing, cinematography, editing and the script by Terence Winter has such a crackling rhythm to it. In my opinion Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill give career best performances. My excellent scene is the faux retirement of Jordan Belfort, gets me every time. Even though it's 3 hours this film breezes by for me and to me that's a sign of a great film.
