Green & Gill by Nada

The Yeti Pirates by Paige

Hi Patrons! :D

Digital downloads of the rest of the art from the finale of the Onawa Country Arc! We hope you enjoyed the episode, and enjoyed these pieces.

They are some of my favorite pieces.

I was happy to finally bring my old character Taxi back in a new form. Hundreds of years old and a Druid Catlord who likely had many successes and failures.  I don't expect the story to ever go toward his home that was lost, but I'm keeping it in mind for the background events.

Hopefully Green passed some wisdom to Gillion, and showed what it looks like to run from ones "Destiny," and have many regrets.

Niklaus is still one of the hardest characters for me to play & write, but by far my most favorite. Once I start talking as him, it feels like my brain becomes a different person. Someone who knows too much, with some cosmic strategy, not even I could keep up with. The hardest part is trying to imagine his childhood... It's something i'm so curious about, but I'll be real with you all... It's still blurry. Guess a good antagonist is one that is enigmatic, even to me.

I really love how the Yeti Pirates turned out. Honestly, I improvised their existence, and their purpose, and Sakushini really CARRIED with their designs!! I think of them as a family, from an older time. Definitely some ice-nordic inspired characters. In my head, their story is one of being reformed or freed by The Black Rose Pirates. The type of freedom where it feels there were chains on your soul that were broken. It had to be important enough for them to hold this debt of guarding Rose's treasure for a decade. These characters also got me imagining what sort of societies and mystic is above the clouds. This world feels bigger every session, and I really hope I get to flesh it out more.

GUYS!! Please leave some comments of your favorite moments of this short first adventure in The Black Sea. Share what your most excited to seen explored in future episodes.

Happy Halloween!

Gotta say, as a half-Norwegian, the nordic representation was on point! It felt enough like viking and ancient norse culture to be recognizable while still clearly being itself own thing. Well done!

Seeing Green again actually brought tears to my eyes, and Bizly's mention of a drunk mountain dwarf nearly broke me, man. I've adored the callbacks and references to the Fated. It makes it feel like, even though we'll probably never TRULY see them again, their stories are still going on somewhere. Thank you, so much.
