Safe to conservatively assume that we are close to a billion desktop computers in use globally, so something to keep in mind is that one percent of the global user base equates to a a 7 digit number... 4% is tens of MILLIONS of Linux desktop users. Add in the facts that Linux has a 95%+ hegemony on server systems, and Android phones comprise a significant majority of users, and we see that Linux, very rightfully, RULES THE WORLD! 😁BWAHAhahahha! 🤪

While I agree Steam's 30% is a lot, I'd argue it's a better bargain than the same percentage with Apple. Valve works on bringing their games to other platforms, they provide additional storage services, and they don't charge users twice for apps and for prohibitively expensive hardware.
