Hey everyone!

I hope you had a great weekend, here is your freshly recorded episode of the patroncast!

In this one, I talk about:

- 00:55 The channel, and the 2 big projects for September, and how to go about them (let me know your thoughts!)

- 15:39 Moving in with my girlfriend: it's finally happening, and I wanted to go over how annoying it has been to live apart for a year and a half

- 23:29 One of the big advantages of Linux: your hardware is used better over time, and you actually tend to gain performance

And here is the link to the video I did with Niccolo Venerandi, that I mentioned at the beginning of the patroncast: https://www.youtube.com/@niccoloveslinux

I hope you'll enjoy listening to this one, have a great week!

I think one of the reasons the GNOME extensions video didn't do so well is because it is very obviously for a GNOME-only audience. For me personally, I have no interest in using GNOME so I didn't watch it.

The most important question: Does she use Linux?

thelinuxexperiment

YES! She uses one of my laptops (the Stellaris 15) to play games using Tuxedo OS (notably the Batman Arkham games, she's a huge batman fan), but it's also her main laptop for any office work!
