Hey everyone!

Time to vote on January's topics! I know December is only half done, but the Holidays approaching, I'd rather get ahead and get ready, so here it is!

In January, on top of the usual Linux News  videos, I'll talk about Flatpak, and specifically, why I think it's the future of app distribution on Linux, whether people like it or not.

I'll also broach the topic of installing Linux, and if it really is as hard as some people make it out to be.

I'll also talk about the best applications for taking notes on Linux, exploring multiple options, including cross platform ones.

We'll also take a look at Linux Mint 20.3, which should release at the end of December, but who has time to review stuff at that time of the year, right?

Which leaves us with the following topics you can vote on:

- Linux isn't Windows, don't treat it as such: Gardiner Bryant recently made a video along the same lines, but I have a different perspective on the topic, so I want to share that

- A few areas where Linux still falls short: a look at what Linux still isn't good at, or at least not good enough compared to alternatives

- Android and iOS are spying on you: a bit of a clickbaity title, but it's really just true: a look at how much data these OS collect, what they collect, and where it goes

- eDEX-UI: a fantastic dashboard for the Linux terminal, which I already offered as a topic last month, and it seemed to be quite popular, so here it is again!

Let me know which topics you'd like to see the most! (But you can vote for all 4 if you want :D)

I see flatpak as one possible answer to the problem Linux Torvalds discribed in this talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pzl1B7nB9Kc The sandbox makes using some IDEs little bit more complicated. KeePassXC integration in Firefox does not work. But it solves missing features in OBS on Arch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZjTXVKYm2Q I personally don't like snap, but AppImage seems to be another way solving Torvald's problem.

Yeah, I'll compare Flatpak to other packaging formats to also explain why I think it's the "right one" to solve the issue :)
