Hey everyone!

Here are the topics I'll be working on in July!

We'll get the usual Linux News, of course, and I'll also take a look at Deepin 20, which released a while ago, and I still want to see how it improved since the previous video series I made about it.

There will be a review of the Tuxedo Infinity Book Pro 14, as well the beginning of a new series about MATE, where I'll take a look at the desktop, the apps, the customization... Much like what I did with XFCE.

I'll also make a video about how I use KDE at work, on my new Slimbook Pro X 14, and on my desktop: how I use activities, the layout I settled on for each device, the apps I use...

Finally, you have the option to pick your 2 favorite topics out of these 4:

- Retro tours: GNOME 1 vs Retro tours: KDE 1. In this new series, I'll take a look at old desktop environments, and see how they worked, how they still relate to their modern counterparts. The first video will be about either GNOME 1, or KDE 1, you decide!

The next choice is between:

- Why are developers porting their apps to Apple Silicon but not Linux? VS The best distros if you're coming from Mac OS. The first one will be my thoughts on why developers judge the Mac as a more suitable platform, even though they have to port for an entire new architecture, compared to porting to Linux, and the second one is the counterpart to the equivalent video I made for people moving from Windows to Linux.

Vote down there, and let me know what I should work on!

Yeah, Slimbook will also have an equivalent to that Infinity Book, the Slimbook Executive, same chassis, screen, battery life, but they're going with the silver chassis as well. I personally prefer silver over black, but it's a matter of taste :) Tuxedo is an excellent company as well, and both them and Slimbook help making Linux better, so it's a good choice whatever you pick!

Agree! This is why for me it has always been a decision between Tuxedo and Slimbook (even if e.g. Lenovo and/or Dell do offer good laptops with a similar price tag...).

Yeah, a lot of people will be just fine buying from a more well know manufacturer, but Tuxedo, Slimbook, System76... they all work on compatibility, bring some apps to Linux, it's just nice to contribute to help Linux get better, and at the same time get a cool device :D
