Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well.

This is our soon to be regular poll to let you decide on which topics I'll be working on during April, so here are the main ideas. You'll have a day to vote, and I'll work on the 2 topics that gathered the more votes :) Don't hesitate to pass the link around!

For April, the fixed videos are :

  • First, the Linux news! These will as always be released on the 1st of April (for the new of the end of March) and on the 16th of April for the first half of the month.
  • I'll also work on a Switch to Linux video, namely how to create a live USB, and enable your computer to boot from it.
  • There will be the Ubuntu 20.04 review as well, and I'll try to include information about the various flavors (Kubuntu, Xubuntu, etc.)

And now we get to your choices for the last 2 videos!

I'll make one of my opinion pieces / vlogs, and I'm undecided between "The state of Linux gaming", or "Thoughts on de-googling, and where I'm at now".

The state of Linux gaming would take a tour of how well we progressed, what works and what doesn't, and the various hiccups and problems we still have to overcome.

The Degoogling video might be a bit more personal, on how I'm doing trying to get rid of Google, which services I still come back to, and which ones I completely phased out, plus what I use regularly.

The second video I need you to vote for is a new series, called "Project of the month". In this one, I'll showcase a specific open source project that I love, or that I just think is super interesting and helpful. For the first entry in the series, I was thinking about either Planner, the Todoist compatible task manager, or Lutris, which is just plain awesome, but that probably everybody already know about.

Time to choose! Vote for the 2 options that appeal most to you! Don't fear, the options that are discarded might show up in the following months for you to vote as well!

Thank you again for being Patrons of the channel (well, I guess, "channels" now, what with the new Gaming Channel over at The Linux Gaming Experiment), and see you soon!

Bye!
