Vanilla OS sounds very cool. We're seeing some pretty cool concepts for immutable distros, each with their own ideas and technologies: Silverblue using rpm-ostree, Ublue using OCI images, Opensuse aeon using btrfs snapshots and now vanillaOS with their new tools. Pretty exciting times for desktop Linux 😄.

Vanilla's release page has a lot of marketing fluff, but I suppose that makes it professional 😅. It seems interesting, like they're bringing a lot of stuff together for QoL. I might try it on a spare PC soon, hopefully it plays nice with dual booting.
