Hey everyone!

In this one, I thought I'd give a small return on experience after using only Slimbook and then Tuxedo devices for a few years: how they held up over time, the compatibility, how hard they scratched or broke, things like that, plus a few reasons why I personally think they're worth it, even though they're not for everyone.

Also, it's not an ad, don't worry, no one paid me to talk about this :D

Nick, I can recommend you to check out Bazzite for your gaming console, it might have an edge when it comes to updates compared to nobara especially when it comes to major version updates as they happen seamlessly in the background and are very unlikely to leave your system in a broken state. Bazzite has an ISO for desktops, handhelds like the Steamdeck and for home theater PCs . One word of caution though, the ISO from their website will update your system to the latest version of Fedora which might bring bugs, my experience with KDE 6 has been pretty bad on Kinoite 40. You can stay one version behind with Bazzite by rebasing to their "GTS" image by following those two command in order: rpm-ostree upgrade Then reboot your computer and launch that second command: rpm-ostree rebase ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-nvidia:gts Typing those two commands will ensure that you always get the latest Fedora version minus one, so right now it would be Fedora 39 🙂. By the way, it'd be cool if you could make a video talking about Universal blue OS, Jorge Castro is a cool and passionate person and he and his team are doing great work on Ublue OS, it'd be nice to give them a bit of publicity 😉.
