Sorry for the lack of Chrysalis updates so far this week. The publisher has asked that I hand over the manuscript as soon as I can and I've put everything else on hold until I manage to pump the thing out. Once it's out of my hair though, things will settle back down and I'll be able to get back to regular publishing schedule.

I hate editing, so this has been a painful process, but it's also been a lot of fun to go back and read the early Chrysalis, remember what it was like writing back then when I was still figuring out what I wanted to do. Cleaning up the errors, fixing the formatting and all the rest will hopefully make for a better reading experience which I will put up on RR when I'm done.

I ve missed my almost daily crysalis, but im also excited to have a published and reworked book of crysalis in hand once it is published :) Keep up the good work with the editing, be diligent and take your time! No typos in the finished product! :D Well, i ll be happy about it even with typos, but still..

That's fine. Thanks for the update

It would have been nice to have known about the lack of content before Dec. 1st, such that we could adjust our subscription for the month. (Maybe i just missed it??) I realize that Patreon is not purely "transactional" but also serves to support in a general sense - still i must admit I signed up with the basic assumption that the deal was "new chapters for money" - not "nothing for money" (it's not like we get the book for free once its done). In other words: Im happily paying dat Patreon-money for the tip of the story - but not for reworks of it's tail.

I just want a skeleton tier for more BOD, as i would prefer more than one a week of course write as you wish. Don’t particularly care about the sub an entire year is the same as a monthly phone bill of course more than a book is worth normally but that’s a very shallow view of it hopefully the money makes your life and your families life better especially if you get to spend more time with them instead of a day job… ok now back to the rift kin genocide

Would there be any BOD Chapters ?

I literally only support 1 creator on patreon, and that's you. My way of doing that is usually I sub one month, wait three months for chapters to build up, then sub again and so on. This time I got about 55 chapters of Chrysalis and 25 chapters of BoD (btw maybe change the title in the pinned post since it still says Necromancer there, so new readers can find the first chapters easier), so I'm satisfied. Love BoD. A bit sad though that I might not be getting the amount of chapters I was expecting to build up for christmas/new years, but that's just the way it is, no worries :)

Please publish some chapters just before Christmas if you can manage it. If not hope you enjoy yours anyway.

2022-01-08 07:53:01 Hiya! I support you now, as I did before and likely always will. Take the time you have to wrap up the manuscript, and even the time you don’t have if that’s what it takes. I just have one question: around what time frame will you be working within? More specifically, is this going to be a month-long hiatus, or perhaps longer? And- hoping against expectations here- will there be any updates of BOD in the meantime? Please and thank you <3 @RinoZ
