Update 27.07.2022 - Last pose done! This guy replaces the initial NCO idea, because it proved to be unfeasible, but he looks really good, isn't he? His main option is AKMS with PBS-1 and couple of RPG-22 for "that pesky dug-in machinegun". AKMS will be replaceable with AK-74 and hopefully Val too. Tomorrow and on Monday i will spend some time polishing everything to have a good, solid release on August 2.

Update 26.07.2022 - Third pose done! Had to basically make him two times, because initial result was lost due to power outage, but i think he looks alright. Tomorrow i'll start working on last pose!

Update 23.07.2022 - Second pose done! Third pose sketch done! For third pose i wanted something "relaxed" and suitable for a range of weapon. So now i can confirm that PKM WILL be an option (isn't it a good news?). Still thinking about pose four, but for now i have a nice suggestion from Tomcat - crouching, with a map on his lap, and will probably stick with it.

Update 19.07.2022 - First pose (almost) done! Second pose's sketch done. Release is proceeding a bit harder than i've expected (mostly due to me returning to office after almost two years of working from home) but i'm still on track and hopefully will make it on time. This release will be less "action-packed" than usual due to lots of gear on these guys.

Hello everyone!

Nothing super exciting to report as of now, BUT at least i can share with you my view on this release.

I want to focus on very popular images of soldiers from 247 Air Assault Regiment of Russian VDV during the second Chechen war.

Therefore i will change the PKM i initially planned to SVD. On a good side, it will allow me to make combo set of AK-74/Val and SVD/Vintorez for extra flexibility.

Thier equipment is also next-level complicated for me so i will spend some more days thinking about how to implement it, but i want to try to make them compatible with my old modular Russians kit.

Any chance of some form of machinegun down the line? Having the core building blocks of modern squad setups (Assault Rifle, Machine Gun, Marksman Rifle and UGLs) are handy when building up squads for things.
